Chloe Rose (born October 25, 1994) is a Canadian actress. == Career == Rose is most prominently known for her role as Katie Matlin in the long-running Canadian TV series, ''Degrassi: The Next Generation''. Rose was cast in 2011, with no previous acting experience. Rose's run on ''Degrassi'' came to an end in 2013 after three seasons. Following her departure, she went on to play a series of guest roles in several hit TV series, including ''Rookie Blue'' (2012 - 2014), ''Lost Girl'' (2013), ''Killjoys'' (2015) and ''Dark Matter'' (2015). Rose has also successfully made the transition into feature film work, starring in a string of indie films, most notably ''The Lesser Blessed'' (premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2013) and the Bruce McDonald horror ''Hellions'' (premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015). Rose currently stars in the popular Canadian web series ''teenagers'' (2014–present) as the central female protagonist, Bree. Her role has been praised by fans and bloggers, with Susie Stone of culturestarved.com writing: "...I saw myself in Bree when she talked to herself and dreamt of her first time making love." In 2015, Rose was nominated for 'Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series' by the International Academy of Web Television for her role in the series.
